The application of gas boilers accounts for a high proportion. Due to the advantages of simple operation, high efficiency, and environmental protection, it has almost replaced the previous solid fuels such as coal burning. The structure of gas boilers can be divided into two types, horizontal and vertical. What is the difference between a vertical gas boiler and a horizontal gas boiler? Let's learn about it with Zhongzheng Boiler.
To correctly distinguish between horizontal gas boilers and vertical gas boilers, it is necessary to understand the difference between them.
1. Different structure
Vertical gas boilers are "vertical" boilers. Horizontal gas boilers have a relatively large area, but are suitable for small spacing between floors. Therefore, horizontal and vertical gas boilers are better, depending on which boiler is more suitable for boiler room design.
2. The start-up time is different
The steam generator has a simple structure, small water volume, and fast steam production; the steam boiler has a large water volume, sufficient output, strong load adaptability, and long-term operation more stable. Therefore, whether horizontal or vertical gas boiler is better depends on the actual working conditions of the boiler. With the same displacement, the modular gas boiler is more suitable for small and micro users who use steam intermittently, such as ironing clothes and steaming rice. However, most industrial enterprises, such as chemical printing, dyeing and food heating, require continuous and uninterrupted use of steam, which is more suitable for long-term stable operation of steam boilers.
3. Different steam quality
Horizontal gas boilers have a steam drum to ensure steam quality, while vertical gas boilers lack steam drums and cannot separate steam from water. The steam with more water leads to poor steam quality, which is difficult to meet the steam specified in the "General Technical Conditions for Industrial Boilers" Quality requirements. In addition, the overall system of the vertical boiler is relatively compact, the energy-saving equipment is not perfect, and the high steam moisture content is not conducive to the full utilization of heat, and the boiler has low thermal efficiency and cannot play the role of energy saving and environmental protection.
4. Water treatment costs are different
Normal water softeners cannot meet the requirements, they need to be treated with reverse osmosis water, and chemical agents need to be added, which means that the investment in the water treatment of the tubular boiler is high, and the operating cost is high; and once the water quality is not up to the standard, it is easy to cause pipe bursts and cannot be repaired. , The boiler is scrapped as a whole. The water quality requirements of horizontal gas boilers are relatively low. Refer to GB1576-2008 industrial boiler water quality standards, and generally use softened water treatment technology or add resin filters.
5. Different capacity ranges
Vertical boilers generally have an evaporation capacity of less than 0.5t/h, while horizontal gas-fired boilers have an output of 1-110t/h with a wide range.
